The Chinese have some very interesting cultural practices.
During my travels I saw a couple of funerals for children.
Did you know that people usually buried the favourite toys of their children with them?
They did this so that the child could play with it in their afterlife.
Toys were often made from stone, wood, bamboo, clay, paper mâché, cloth and even silk.
People made Chinese finger traps, swords, kites, yo-yos and even puzzle rings.
I saw children catch a Cicada, and after the child played with it, they roasted it and ate if as a snack.
I also saw the children collecting ants. When I asked them why they said they would take them home to their families to make ant soup!
I think that is kind of
Northern Chinese ate boiled noodles, soy beans and baked bread.
In Southern China, they ate more rice and fruit.
The most important thing in the kitchen was the stove because they used it to heat the whole house.
